BioI'm a woman and a student and a writer.
I love running as the sun rises.
I love drinking a glass of whiskey as the sun sets.
I love my cat, when I don't want to kill her.
And I love my home, where it freezes for months at a time, where the ice whips across the lakes like shattered glass. Where you walk to class when it's thirty below and by the time you arrive, you can't feel your legs. Where coffee is not an addiction, but a lifeline. Where there is nothing more magical than the first snowfall of the year.
Where the summer days last forever under cobalt skies, and there's something joyful, impossibly intensely joyful, in every moment.
Life is good.
I read good (and bad) things. A lot of them. I keep track of them here:
I also cook quite a bit, and tag the more successful recipes.
